Emergency?
Dental problems don't always happen during normal business hours.
Should you have an after hours emergency, please call our office and you will be referred to an after hours number. If your emergency is of an urgent nature, please consider going to the emergency room at your nearest hospital.
Payment Policies
Unless arrangements have been made prior to your appointment, payment in full is expected at the time of treatment. We accept cash, personal checks, credit cards (MasterCard, VISA, Discover, and Care Credit) and insurance payments. Please bring your insurance card with you.
As a courtesy to our patients claims to most insurance companies will be filed for you. We participate in many PPO plans but NO DMO plans. It is always the responsibility of the patient to know your benefits. Patients seeking treatment out of network can expect to receive payments as allowed by their insurance. All insurance plans vary; we will always attempt to assist patients.
Dental insurances has never been on a same level as medical coverage. More and more employers are cutting back or even removing dental coverage from benefits. As the costs of providing health care increase, patients are getting less coverage. Employers purchasing the dental insurance plans for their employees need to negotiate for better plans.
Interesting Facts from A to Z
We want the best for your teeth. That's why we have put some information together here to help you the next time you visit our practice. It can also help you understand more about prevention and other dentistry topics.
Preventative care: At least every 6 months
If you take special care of your teeth and they are in good condition, you should come to see us for a checkup at least twice a year. If your teeth are predisposed to problems, you should be on the safe side and make an appointment for preventative care regularly.
Our tip: Come in for a consultation and make the next appointment after each visit.
Start 'em early
Proper oral hygiene habits are learned early. As soon as your toddler can manage a toothbrush (24-30 months), supervised brushing instructions can create beneficial habits that last a lifetime. Remember, children under 6 should be supervised at all times as swallowing toothpaste can be harmful.
Dr. Kathryn L. Grady recommends a first dentist visit somewhere in the third year. Establishing regular visits at a young age has proven to improve the health and stability of adult teeth.
